CSR Cart Race in Bali: Superdry Builds Business Carts for MSMEs in Jatiluwih
Bali, Indonesia – Superdry partnered with In-Coach Asia to deliver a meaningful CSR Cart Race team-building program in Bali, turning teamwork into real-world impact for local communities in Jatiluwih Village.
The program brought Superdry’s team together in a hands-on challenge to design and build vending carts, which were later donated to local MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises) in Jatiluwih. What started as a team-building activity quickly became a shared mission—combining creativity, collaboration, and social responsibility into one purpose-driven experience.
Throughout the session, participants worked in teams to plan, assemble, and customize their carts. The challenge encouraged communication, coordination, and problem-solving, while reinforcing a deeper message: that teamwork can extend beyond internal goals and create value for others.
The CSR Cart Race format is designed to mirror real workplace dynamics. Teams must manage time, align roles, and execute together under pressure—yet with a meaningful outcome that leaves a positive footprint on the local community. For Superdry, the experience reflected a commitment not only to team development, but also to giving back to the communities they engage with.
The choice of Jatiluwih Village, a UNESCO-listed cultural landscape in Bali, added further meaning to the program. By supporting local MSMEs with practical tools for their daily business, the initiative aimed to contribute to sustainable community development in a tangible way.
Through this CSR-focused team building experience, In-Coach Asia continues to bridge corporate objectives with social impact—helping organizations build stronger teams while creating benefits that extend beyond the event itself.
